1. Log into your account at http://www.flipkey.com/users/login/.

2. Click on the ‘Edit Listing’ button.

3. Click on the ‘Rates’ tab to view details about adding, editing, or deleting rate information. The instructions below will help give specific instructions on editing rate information.

To Add Rates:
Easily select your preferred currency and then add your nightly, weekly and monthly rental rates as well as a minimum night stay. The standard rates are intended to display only when a traveler searches for dates outside of your detailed rate calendar. Please note, you can not include a rate range. Detailed rental prices can be entered in the rate table when clicking on 'Edit special rates.'

To add detailed rate information related to seasonality, unique dates, or holidays, click on 'Edit special rates.'

Input the exact dates under ‘Start Date’ and ‘End Date.’ Add a minimum night stay and a ‘Rate Name,’ which is usually entered as a month or season. Enter your rates per night (weekday or weekend), per week, or per month. When you are done adding your rate details, click 'Save this rate.'

If you wish to add rates for multiple months or seasons click ‘Add a new Rate.’ You can add as many rates as you choose.

Simply click ‘Edit special rate’ to make changes to your current rates.

Then select the rate that you want to change ans click 'Edit.'

Make the necessary changes to your rate calendar and then click 'Save this rate.'

Simply click ‘Edit detailed rate calendar’ to make changes to your current rates.

Simply click ‘Delete’ in blue text on the right hand side of your page.

Take advantage of displaying pricing information that you were not able to include in the rates table. Additional rate information includes, but is not limited to the following:
To Add Additional Rates:
Simply enter the applicable taxes, fees, or charges into the boxes to provide additional rate details.

If you would like to enter more specific or unique detailed rates, click in the 'Add additional rate details' box.

Simply enter any additional rate details in the text box and click 'Continue' when you are done.
A price range will display on the natural search results in the property listings page. The rates are automatically converted to and shown in the currency of the traveler's choice in search results for easy comparison.

The ‘Rate and Availability’ tab displays the rates in the currency of the traveler’s choice. Any additional rate information, such as taxes, cleaning fees, or per person charges will also be shown under the ‘Rates and Availability’ section. The order of rental rates is sorted first by date, starting with the most current dates, then by label or season, and lastly by minimum night stays. The cost of the property per night, week, or month is not factored into the order in which rates are displayed on FlipKey or TripAdvisor.

Although all rates default to displaying in U.S. Dollars, travelers can easily select from a list of 16 unique currencies directly on FlipKey.com. The drop-down menu on the homepage allows each user to select a currency of their choice to make browsing and comparing vacation rental properties easy.


How do rates display on TripAdvisor? A property’s rental rates vary on TripAdvisor depending on the unique domain of the TripAdvisor website.
You are required to add either a nightly, weekly, or monthly rate to your property listing.
We understand that every owner manages their rental property uniquely, and have therefore provided you with an opportunity to list rates flexibly. Rates reflect positively on the owner and lend credibility and professionalism to your listing.
Rates only display if pricing details are for current or future dates. If there are rates in your account for dates that have already passed they will not display on FlipKey and TripAdvisor.
